WHAT?!

But really, how could I have forgotten about this gem?! Get ready for some lonely cynicism before I forget about it again.

Baby, baby, baby.

Did this post entice you with it's justin beiber title???? because even though i wrote it, that's the only reason i want to read it. i'll be heading to san francisco in a couple of days and i have a laundry list of things to do. which happens to include doing my laundry. this is clearly me doing all of those things and in no way procrastinating.

someone remind me to bring my camera, because all i ever do is forget it. everywhere i go. which is strange because i love it.

when i return, i hope to be fully gay, fully granola, and full. because that's what happens when you go to san francisco. it changes you.

now stop reading this and go do your homework! (clearly this is directed only at me)

Late nights and early mornings.

i blame you coffee and endless amounts of homework i've chosen to procrastinate on.

and also sharron angle. i blame her too. but that's just because i don't like her and i blame her and her followers for most of the problems nevada and myself face.

and with that i bid you adieu.

The thing is...

though i have aged (gracefully in my opinion) nothing else seems to be aging with me. As I grow into this state of elderly, granted it may be premature, it bothers me that nothing seems to be following my lead. Not that I expect everything around me to be effected by the things that I do, but when I stop liking things, shouldn't the rest of the world? Like shouldn't we all be over the expense of a college education? And also shouldn't we all be over getting up early? Or not napping? I understand that I now live in the world of responsible young adulthood, but I like to sleep in until noon, be awake for three hours, watch some midday sitcom reruns or some spongebob, and then march myself right back into my bedroom for the rest of my sleep. And this whole things costing large sums of money and me working full time and still being able to somehow keep my bank account in the double digits, I don't like that either.

I need a cup of coffee. And a sugardaddy.

I'm buying a camera. This is in order to preserve my sanity and prove that I still have a soul.

Dear History,

Could you guys stop having revolutions? They really lose their effect over time. By revolution six in the same century, you just seem needy rather than effective. Also, can we stop acting like the details are important. If your textbooks could just give me a general overview of quasi-important events and the answers to the questions at the end of the chapter, that would be wonderful.

Yours Truly,
Christina Jane Lujan
disoriented and desperately in need of a shower.

A tip of my hat to the people of france.

now, i'm not here being some kind of artsy american teenager, doting on french culture because of the art and passion and food. although those points don't bother me about said culture, let's think about it. france isn't just some romantic far away country with the most romantic city in the world that illuminates at night. it was french philosophers that gave us many of our ideas about modern society, it was a french author that coined the term industrial revolution, and it was the french who were the first to give into women's suffrage. and let's face it, in a time when restaurants and grocery stores didn't rule the land, the people were eating up to a pound of bread a day. i'm ultimately for any culture that builds their basic nutritional guidelines on a steady diet of bread, wine, and tobacco. not to mention that their two most famous rulers were either overtly extravagant and hated by middle class society or very tiny and the creators of their own well known complex. to be a culture not only with poor dietary habits that have made you only more beautiful and interesting, but also a country that is known for knowing it's better than other countries, i say touche!

i am now openly accepting any donations for a trip to france. and if you keep sending money, perhaps i'll never come back. it's win-win when you think about it.
